Beautiful Spaces is not a traditional work of history. It does not evolve along a linear path from one event to another, or even from one moment in time to the next. Because of that, you might find yourself wondering where in the world - or rather, where in the history of Crimea - you have landed. You might find it useful to consult the resources in the Orientation section (which includes timelines, biographical sketches, a gazetteer, and a bibliography).
